i just wanna share some new things i’ve been up to lately- a new song and something really, really special!

‘looking for me’ the song

i’ve been feeling lost for a while, as if my emotions have faded into the background, leaving me numb. you know that tiny feeling in your heart—the one that flickers when you’re caught in a moment of nostalgia? i haven’t felt that in a long time, as if my connection to life’s little joys and pains has slipped away. it hinders me from moving forward, from truly living.

so, I went on a quest, to rediscover who I am. along the way, I found pieces of myself I thought were lost forever. i reconnected with parts of me i had forgotten—those small, quiet parts that still carry light. and now, after lots of wandering, i think i’ve found myself again, not as i was before, but as someone new, whole, and ready to feel once more.

playing songs i like at an illegal spot in the forest

this was so fun to do! i was actually feeling pretty sick the day i planned to record, but it was one of those perfect, ‘end-of-summer’ days with clear blue skies, so i had to get out there.

i wandered through the forest with my gear looking for some spots to record, and stumbled onto this little hill with a road circling around it. the view of the valley from up here was unreal, and people wandering about would occasionally spot me on the hill, probably wondering what i was up to.

i wasn’t sure if this was a legal spot to record, so i kept an eye out for rangers—and there were a few around!
